Insurance Assistance

If you do not currently have insurance, the Chicago Department of Public Health has a call center for guidance.

For those that do not have a primary care doctor, call

Service Providers Maintaining Service Despite Non-Payments

These mobile, electric, and gas providers have implemented a moratorium on service disconnections for non-payment until May 1.

This is state-provided insurance that pays out when you lose your job. The benefits are primarily paid out by our state government and funded by specific payroll taxes collected for this purpose.
